...that Glock will announce its micro sized single stack 9mm at the SHOT show..

I love my Kahr CM9 but would trade it for a similar sized Glock in a heartbeat!!

just sayin..

I've got a CM9 as well. It's a fantastic little pistol that has been 100% reliable. I don't see any way Glock could really improve on that.

Also, have you considered a Walther PPS? No single-stack Glock will ever be as nice a pistol as the PPS.

I am a Glock lover.. Can't really give you any other reason.

Dont get me wrong: i spend most of my time with my CM9 (my G23 still prints too much) and i really love the gun. The only thing i don't like about it are the magazines... Where i never ever have an issue with my Glock magazines, the Kahr mags will give me grief here and there (mostly operator error, but still)

Never been a fan of Walther, again no reason.. I should check that PPS out some time

There is the DB9 from Diamondback firearms. Not sure how popular they are or what the quality is but it is a very small 9mm with 6+1 capacity from a single stack magazine.
Reviews are mixed but you get a lifetime warranty with it. Seems like a decent little gun with a decent price tag.

Yeah my neighbor has that one.. He shot my CM9 and went and bought himself a CM9.. Now the DB9 is sitting collecting dust lol

With all the weird laws like the one N.Y. just passed it would possibly be a smart move on Glocks part to get into the single stack lightweight compact market of 9mm,40,and 45ACP.
I would certainly consider one.

You'd think Glock would take your advice on the compact single stack models in 9mm and .40. They could have a whole new line of concealable pistols for markets that allow it as well as low capacity markets.
I think a G26 or 27 that is 30% thinner would be nice although guns like the Sig 239 never sold as well as similar sized offerings. Perhaps a company like Glock would be better suited in that they could simple take a G26 or G19 slide and stick it right on a single stack frame.
Taurus might have a huge winner on its hands if the Slim series of pistols comes into favor in NY.

They already have one in the G36.
