Looking for a owb holster to take my glock hunting and hiking with me. I plan on getting a .357 eventually but for now 180 grain hydra shock is going to have to do. Any suggestions?

Glock factory holster don't provide retention. You need positive retention for outdoors/offroad carry in case you have to run/jump/stumble/fall or get upside down (believe me, it can/will happen). You can use full flap retention holsters but they don't provide quick access/draw.

Not as much as a strap or flap, no, but I have done a head-first forward roll while wearing a Glock 26 in one of those holsters, and it didn't come out. They have a bump that engages the inside of the trigger guard.

I have Blade-Tech and Blackhawk Serpa, for the Glock I prefer the Blade-Tech.
Retention is passive, no thumbsnaps or tigger boogies, gun is held by friction and you can tighten the screws to the point, short of getting bucked off a horse and rolling down a mountain, that pistol isn't coming out of the holster unless you draw it.

+1 ... +many, actually I have many blade-tech OWB & IWB holsters. For my G4G19 I have the IWB Nano & OWB Eclipse.

Is this true of all of their holsters or one specific model?
I ask because I've been looking for a good OWB holster for open carry while riding the motorcycle, and I'd like to avoid covering up the gun with a flap or thumb strap if possible.
