I just made my second order ever with them, $700 worth of CFE223, Universal Clays, Lil Gun, and HS6. It's just too bad it's gonna take a month before they ship it :( I wish they had some primers in stock besides Tula LRM and berdan.

Wednesday I'll be giving some love to MBC too :)

I did not know they had any thing in stock, I have been checking their site every couple of days and they did not seem to have much in. Except the Tula Primers.

Too bad I just got 6 lbs from Midsouth. I'd rather have what you go than what I got. All I really need is primers. To get any more would be hoarding.

When this turd with ears craze is over people will be trying to give some of their hoarded stock away...I'm just going to sit back and wait.

Yep, grabbed 16lbs of cfe223 earlier today from PV.
Wideners had srm primers in a day and a half ago, got 10k of those at $21 per k after hazmat and shipping.

One of these days someone will have bulk bullets, I am not paying 100 ct price. Patience pays off.

I guess they do have some Hodgdon powders, I just wish I had money to spend on it.:( Besides I would really like to get an 8lb keg of H335, I would have to buy quite a few 1 pounders to make it worth buying them.

Oh I'm not hoarding, 12 out of 24lbs of the CFE223 will probably be gone this year, the rest will be gone next year. The 8lbs of Universal should last a couple years. And the 1lb jugs of Lil Gun and HS6 will probably last 2 years. I figure this stuff ain't gonna get any cheaper panic or not. And about $100 was hazmat, shipping, and sales tax since PV and myself are both in Kansas. If I were actually hoarding my order would have been 3 times that. I more or less just saved myself from paying a hazmat fee on an order next year. Now I need to find 10-15k of various primers and 10,000 or so bullets.

Did you really spend $700 for powder? Man, where do you guys find the money to make big buys like that all at once? I'm glad you were able to order what you need!

If you want to make large bulk ammo related purchases, just put a few dollars aside from every paycheck, it adds up really fast. Don't blow you wad every time you see a box of ammo on the shelf, make a list of what you want and stick with it. That $700 is going to keep the OP stocked up on powder for 2 years, that's only $30/month, not bad at all to be able to shoot whenever you want.

Glad to see CF223 is becoming available again, been wanting to give it a try.

I'm just glad that I already have enough supplies to keep me loading pretty much all I'd want to, not to mention enough ammo already loaded and stored to keep me shooting for a LONG time. I seem to have this issue with making and gathering far more than I actually use. It's becoming a storage problem.

I agree, there is very little if anything I need in the way of reloading components. I did need a little more H335 which I did find locally but that was about it...

I would like to stumble across 8# of IMR4895, and maybe a couple pounds each of Win231 and Win296, or H110, or 2400.

The most I've spent on components in one day before this order was about $170 back in early January. That yielded 6000 Tula .223 primers from Powder Valley. I would have ordered 5 times that if I could have afforded to. This powder order is thanks to Uncle Sam deciding to give me back half of the money I loaned him last year, income tax return. It was only a fraction of my return but this is about as much as I could spend without having problems with my wife. She still thought I was nuts when I told her how much I spent.

I almost did this last night but then decided not to. Of course this morning they are all sold out of H335. I'm trying not to make stupid buying decisions just because of the shortage but it's so hard not buying stuff when it comes available.

I actually have enough primers to last me a little while just need some H335 for my new AR

Simple budgeting and priorities.
For instance ive never purchased a piece of furniture in my entire life,
there are always some married sucker that will give you their couch because
it doesnt go with their high mantainence wife's new purse.
Also ive never bought a tv, no wasted time watching tv and no wasted $$$
paying for cable. I ordered around 4 grand worth of stuff from PV this january.
Ive recieved everything except a few 8 pounders of powder and those have shipped
according to email. Simple budgeting and priorities my good man!

The wise man said.

I kick myself everytime I order because I'd rather get more but my wife is a but over what I get already. I sold over $700 in reloading tools & decided to spend a little less then $500 to get into casting. She still started an argument over it but thinks it is ok to take $200 out of my wallet to but a treat heater & eat out.

The guns are way cheaper then a wife.

My main message to my wife right from the start was "If pappa aint happy aint nobody gonna be happy" it works well.

It takes some time to make the transition, but I just put the money I was spending every month to buy range ammo aside and buy components with it. It really pays to go large on the primers and powder because the HazMat shipping fee will usually be more than 1lb of powder or about the same as 1000 primers these days.
