I went to Scheels in Appleton, WI today.

They had all manner of Winchester primers on the shelf.
The clerk even said that was the first time they got Small Pistol Primers in since Christmas.

Unfortunately, they had zero powders.
Last Friday, the truck brought in some powder, including Lil Gun, but by today (Monday) it was all gone.

I still have some, but was almost completely out of large primers.

(they also had Berry's 9mm 124gr bullets, which I've NEVER seen there)

My LGS is the same way. One time they would have primers, the next time they would have lots of powder. You just have to frequent the shop often to get what you need.

Same here, I have been trying to get my wife to apply for a job at the local outdoor warehouse store to get an inside line on components and maybe even a discount. Problem is she could care less if I have anything to reload with or not :banghead:

Insensitive woman!! My Wife is the same way. Mine even wanted me to do a cost inventory. Told her I was afraid to find out. Truth is I don't want HER to find out..LOL.

My little woman doesn't give a hoot what I might spend on bullets, powder, etc. , she knows I enjoy reloading and shooting, if I buy something, or send an order out over the net, she knows I'll make it good the next day at the bank to cover that bill. This lady knows when I'm downstairs loading, or going to the range, I won't come home snockered, nor lipstick on my collar. Life is good !

Ditto Here...Some of us ae lucky.... she also Said Saturday "We need to go Shooting Soon"

Always love ta hear that...

Yup... She's a keeper for sure....

I was gunna go shooting today... Monsoons are in town... 35+mph gusts... so Guess just a trip to cabela's is in store... see what they got In Stock...

I'm in the same boat as most of you guys are the little lady would rather me spend my Saturday nights at the bench having an affair with one of my lovely guns creating a special diet for which ever sweet little shooter I am working with than to go out and actually talk to real women :what:

There's a new Cabela's opening this month in Green Bay, WI.
If I were married I'd have her go & apply.

But I think to need a woman, takes more than just a need for employee discounts.

I guess I was too traumatized by the first wife.

I went by the LGS store in Huntsville yesterday (Able Ammo). They are starting to have more stuff available. They seem to focus on price gouging though. Primers wer $7.99/100, so that would be $80.00/1000

Powder was running about $30.00 a pound. They had a pretty good selection, just nothing I needed. I'm looking for Varget and Hodgdon Universal mostly.

I can pay hazmat and save money over those prices.

Scheels was $44 per thousand. A little steep but available. Small pistol and small rifle.

44 at my LGS too. Glad to see supply though. i guess thats how new, higher prices become normal-sucks but im glad theyre in stock

Know how you feel. I just get her used to seeing things coming in the door. Once in a while sell something and make sure she know how much I just made on the sale.
