What kind of 6.5 bullet is this?

I bought these for $8/100. Who is the manufacturer? I think they're 140 gr, but I haven't weighed them yet. They were bagged in ziplocks from an estate sale.

This is a softpoint, but the jacket comes right up to the edge of the lead tip.

They shoot about 1 1/4" MOA out of my .30-30, which is plenty good enough at the 150 yards and in I might get a shot.

Great deal at $8 per 100. Ya done good. :)
 
Core-lokts are not bad shoters, they won't run with my SGKs but they shoot just fine in my 308, never tried them in my 6.5x55 though.

My main 8x57 rifle doesn't like the 170 gr Remington factory loads at all. My 7x57 shoots the 140 gr factory loads quite well, my 1903 shoots the 150 grain core lokt well, and the 180 grain round nose loads are the only bullets that my 1909 Argentine (reamed out to 30-06 w/ a 0.313" bore) shoots well. I haven't tried many different rounds in the Argie because it's destined to become a 6mm remington.

I've never shot game (other than the occasional jack rabbit) with any of them, so I can't speak to terminal performance, but I've yet to meet anyone who has complained about that.

I have used the .308 Corelockt on whitetails and while the recovered bullets didn't look like the advertzing "perfect mushroom" the deer were all DRT. At twice the price you still would have scored a bargain.

I take that all back...they are horrible...you better send them to me, heck I'll give ya $10/100 :)
