Anyone have any experience with these? They look like one of the many hybrid tuckable knockoffs of the Crossbreed Supertuck, but I saw an ad in American Handgunner- $30 for the holster, lifetime warranty, and free replacement of the kydex portion should you change carry guns?

I have no connection to this company and have never heard of them till now, but does anyone have experience?

I've got one for my Kel Tec P11. It's got adjustable ride height and cant and supposedly sweat proof so I got one. I'm finding that due to my increased diameter in the midsection it's not that comfortable. I'm working on losing weight so I think it will work out. I've not had it long and only been wearing it around the house and on errands to get it broke in. For the price I don't think you can beat it. The kydex and leather is thicker so break in may be a little longer than some of the other hybrid styles.

I was looking at one last week, not a bad deal. I too have put on a few pounds as of late, and thinking of having a big slab of leather pushing against me on a hot, humid day doesn't sound like fun. I'll stick to my Hume JIT owb holster.

They'll send you out a free kydex shell if you buy a new gun?

That's probably the deal of a life time. I know guys who have 7 or 8 carry guns...

That's what they claim. I have yet to test it.

I bought one for my FNS .40 and also bought a shell for my Kahr CW9. I am pretty thick through the middle too but I find this holster very comfortable. I've only used it a couple of days with the CW9 which is pretty thin and easy to carry anyway. Check out the video reviews on youtube. There's one with a guy carrying a Berretta 92 and you really can't tell. I think you have to buy the new shell (which is not very much, $10-$12) if you decide to carry a different gun.

You never know. This was my favorite style holster when I had a spare tire. Now that it's ogne, this style is my least favorite.

I think that Alien Gear is owned by the same folks that make Old Faithful holsters. I pack a bit more weight around the middle and have been debating between an Alien Gear and an Old Faithful. Kinda leaning toward the Old Faithful.

Not quite. They say if you decide to carry a different gun they will trade your old kydex for kydex that will fit your new gun.

That being said they do sell extra kydex shells so you could buy multiple shells and one leather backing.

Even though I already have a Foxx brand holster that is just like this one I think I will pick an alien gear holster up.
