That's how I organize things, right out in the open on the floor. It drives my wife nuts.

I guess it depends on what your needs are for ammo. That may be sufficient or it might not.

I'm not going to post what is on hand in my house. Generally, I keep two years worth of ammo on hand and two years worth of components for the calibers I reload.

Being smart and buying in advance have nothing to do with one another.

I've got plenty...but that's only because I really like reloading.

Just had knee surgery. alot of ammo cans are full and heavy.

I have been buying in advance for over thirty years now. Started with me splitting a case of Chinese 7.62x39 and still picking up the occasional box or two when I can find it.

The screen ain't big enough to hold my supply.

ive got a few thousand rounds stached at my folks house but never got around to moving it and a few of my guns down here. i had 2 50 cal cans filled with loose .22lr...... bet i could sell each one for a grand now lol

I'll play. I don't have a pic of my whole supply, but this is what I purchased between January and April this year. I got caught with my pants down in December with a small gun collection and extremely low ammo supply. Never again. I've been buying steadily since (at reasonable prices only). I've probably bought another 8000 rounds since this pic was taken (1000 more coming in the mail Wednesday). It's nice to finally be buying more ammo that I shoot. Also added 6 new guns to the collection since January.

Wonder if the Feds are watching you guys when you post ammo and guns?

^^^^^of course their watching....when they have time between reading your emails, listening to your phone calls and browsing thru your medical records

I'd post my typical statement to them at this time, but it isn't in line with THR standards, so I'll just say "bite me NSA" and take a picture of something to post ITT later this evening.

I like this thread . I would love to post a pic of my ammo but sadly I took it all on the boat with me and I lost it all when she sank.

I don't post pictures of such things. I don't inventory either.

All I can say is things got a lot simpler when I greatly reduced the number of calibers and gauges I have to keep fed.

Put it this way, since the shortage started I shoot almost every day and I've given friends 10,000 rounds of handgun and rifle ammo and it hasn't made a dent.

Out of curiosity, how long would your pictured stashes last you based on you average amount of shooting if you didn't resupply as you shot it?
