There is no midrange and above Match ammo made in the US. Federal rebrands RWS. Remington rebrands Eley. American 22 ammo usage has moved more toward getting alot of rounds downrange fast with positive cycling in a semi-auto. Only a small minority cares about sub-MOA accuracy.I could almost stomach everything coming from China..though I prefer MADE IN THE USA...But the way they treat the workers ? No thanks. Someone should open a super store called NOT WALMART, treat the workers right and carry 100% USA made products...a niche store...oh ..and the AMMO sections is always overstocked...
Yeah. It does take a certain temperament to reload. I know people who have bought progressive presses, had a buddy set up everything and became just a handle puller. First time something goes wrong KABOOM. You have to pay attention. You have to check the powder level in each and every case before seating the bullet even if you have a powder checker. You have to be diligent about checking powder throws. You have to makei sure your OAL is correct and consistent. You have to make sure there is enough neck tension to avoid setback but not too tight. You have to load with no distractions.I know it doesn't help with the 22LR but the folks that are paying high prices for .380 or other calibers really need to think about reloading. I shoot my 9mms a lot more since 22lr is harder to get. I still have about 2000 rounds of 22LR but I'm saving that for my daughter's 22s.
ford8nr Where are they. ....
I have only seen them in 1 store 1 time over the last 24 months.
If deliveries continue as they have in the last 2 weeks, it won't take long to get 22 in the hands of shooters that have been looking, and put the flippers out of business.
