Concealed carry on a motorcycle.

I will stick with OWB at 3:30 thank you. If you are on your bike I just don’t see how you can get your gun out of a pocket or ankle holster.
For me, going without is simply not an option. Your chance of getting jacked at a stop light, or road raged is just as high on a bike as it is in a pickup.

I tried a Tanker style holster.

I ride a V-twin cruiser,,,
So my riding stance is erect.

I bought one of these Tanker holsters,,,
from Pacific Canvas & Leather.

It worked fine but only fit one of my pistols,,,
But the strap assembly held the gun against my torso.

I liked the fact that the gun was in front of my body,,,
And not under my armpit where I chafed me,,,
So I copied the strap for a new holster.

If you carry a 4" K-frame or a semi with a 1911 profile,,,
One of the two stock models will work for you.

Oklahoma now has open carry,,,
So if my jacket needs to be open for hot weather,,,
I'm still legal but in the non-open carry states it could be a problem.

Just throwing out an idea.

Aarond.

Any gun I've had that was like a Harley was sold or traded right away. Who in their right mind would want a gun that leaked and had parts falling off, plus you would have to buy the complete Harley costume for the gun.

I smell rice burnin'.............:neener:

Aarond, Bianchi makes a similar holster, not sure how much it costs or if it fits other pistols.

Verdun, are you refering to the Triumph that went out out of business in '83, or the company that started in '84?

I rode a bike for many years--my leather jacket had many pockets with zippers to hold my old Colt Mustang.
I got more use out of the Mag Lite than the gun

They quit making shovelheads in 1984. Please try and pay attention. :)

Seriously, this is about CCW on a motorcycle. Let's stay on topic.

Seems it almost impossible for a thread to exist anymore without someone trashin' someone else's choices. Funny how this got pulled off from the topic of CWC to become a Harley bashing thread.

We all make choices. Whether it be guns, bikes or the way we carry. I never could figure why some feel the need to belittle other choices to justify their own. Low self esteem maybe or could be insecurity about their own choices. I dunno. Truth be told, shoot what makes you happy, ride what makes you happy and carry the way the makes you feel the safest and most secure. If you respect other folk's choices, odds are they will respect yours.
