Thinking about buying a Tanfoglio TZ 75 thru Century Arms. Anyone familiar with their quality/how they rate their used pistols? This one says "Very Good" and there's an explanation on their web site. However, hoped to find someone who purchased a used gun through them and if they can be taken at their word?

Price is okay, even adding FFL fee and "use tax" here in WA state.

(I sold a TZ 75 last year and have regretted it from the very next day. Now looking to correct my mistake.)

I have no experience with Century specific Tanfoglio. If they are just imported by Century and manufactured by Tanfoglio, then they should be good to go.

But depending on the price, I'd just get a new EAA Witness or RIA/Armscor MAPP or even an Sarsilmaz clone. CDNN has new Witness Tanfoglios on sale for like $270 right now online.

I dont know much other than Tanfoglio is a well respected player in the ISPC/USPSA world.

If you're considering CZ clones, also take a look at the Caniks. I've been reading almost nothing but rave reviews for a while now, and actually fired one yesterday that a buddy of mine just got. I thought it was a real sweet pistol, and my buddy, who's a much more knowledgable and experienced pistolero, is extremely happy with it.

+1 on that. My experience with them has been extremely positive as well.
