Lately I can't help but notice that gun prices are falling to new lows. When I saw Kahr PM9's at $509, new, that was the kicker. They were $650, used at gun show,s , even 6 months ago, with the average of 700 or more for a new one.
This with many Pistols, "pistols in the popular calibers". Even revolvers have dropped like the Taurus http://www.slickguns.com/search/apachesolr_search/taurus+
and all of the rest, even Colt, especially Colt which usually go up when a company goes chapter 11, "I still think they will turn and burn, once this sinks in and the pundits start evaluating the long term valuation. It's just odd to see some weapon drop 30-40% for no apparent reason. I think Obama is going to try one more big push and slap some Executive order through in the middle of the night.
Through it all, some are declining less than others, like the guns that Law enforcement uses, but everything just seems undervalued, like most guns I look at for carry, is this a trend or a blip.
Usually like gasoline, there will be some nonsensical thing that suddenly pushes prices up. Also the Kimbers of the world are still rising by the month, why anyone would pay 2 grand for a shiny 1911 is beyond my station to decipher, "look at their new summer line", it looks like a swimwear commercial for the Hamptons.
