My last Lyman mold came with full instructions on how to cast bullets. The chart gives an idea of the BHN of different alloys.
I use my thumb nail as a hardness tester. If I can mark the bullet, its too soft.
Antimony makes bullets harder, larger in diameter & lighter in weight. ADD LINOTYPE.
