Glad I saw the writing on the wall and got mine for $2,750. This is NFA Class 3 money now.

I own a nice H&R Garand, WW1 Rock Island 03', M44, 91/30 and a Finn M39.
Tops in accuracy would be the 1903(I would prefer the 03A3) followed by the M39.
The M1 is a great gun but not very accurate and more of a battle rifle. There is a reason the 1903 was nicknamed "silent death"
Here is an excellent source for mil surp rifles of all varieties. His prices are average to high but I have always heard that he is very honest in his descriptions. I see M39's pretty regularly on his site.

Buy a few. I have plenty of Pmags and GI mags but if I needed a few mags I would pay the $40. Mind you people were paying $100 for Pmags on GB a few weeks ago.
Hindsight is 20/20 and Pmags will last you years.
He's right but also being a troll. You need to put a 1913 type rail in place of the lower foregrip and use a grip that way. Obviously you would never leave it mounted with a grip or fire it at the range like that.
Rifle is a boat anchor Savage 12 in .308 treated very nicely and wasn't even in the rain since last time out.
Scope is a 12 year old Burris signature 8-32x 44mm matte ballistic mil-dot. Burris product #200861.
I own 3 Burris higher end scopes and this is the first issue I have had.
What? I shoot Federal 745 almost exclusively. Out of my 10/22's and a high standard the last 5,000 rounds have yielded less than 50 duds. Remington on the other hand is notoriously bad.
Remington rimfire was so bad back in the day you could hear the difference between each round......and...
What this guys said...........the lower truly does just hold crap. It holds the FCG and the magazine......no nead for a super high speed lower.
People are just retarded.
