    338-06 vs 35 Wh

An article in March/April 2005 Rifleshooter Magazine entitled Cartridge Efficiency, written by George W. Calef, proposes - "Forget about the highest power and velocity : which rounds produce the most with the powder they burn?" I think Calef's article is somewhat flawed with errors of fact...

    338-06 vs 35 Wh

Apparently you all like to talk without any facts. Fact 1, a 35-06 with the same powder as a 338-06 will outperform it at the muzzle, the only advantage of the 338 is bal coef. and bullet selection .35 is the most efficient caliber there is, fact 2, 35 Whelen AI is the most efficient cartridge...

The High Road AR15 Picture Thread

Parallax Tactical made the rail on the scoped rifle. I think it's called a fssr rail.

What Ak/Ak Variant currently is best bang for your buck?

In 1995 I bought a Norinco MAK 90 for $189.00. I overpaid by about $160.00 because it was a POS that barely shot a 6" group at 50 yards.

    300 blackout pistol build

I don't think I should have such problem since the Troy claymore is a forward projecting comp. I may get a longer comp such as a noveske, there is a lower diameter aluminum model out there somewhere.

    44mag riffle or blkout

Few people know that AAC was acquired by Remington, or whatever their name is now. They are making model 700's, and H&r handi's in 300 blk. Smith and Wesson, Daniel Defense, Remington R 15, Core, diamond back and spikes Tactical all make AR's in 300 blk. And then there is the fact that it is...

    44mag riffle or blkout

I'm sorry but the blackout is not a fad, Winchester WSM's were fads but 300 blk has been adopted by to many SRT and SWAT teams to be a fad. Every major AR manufacturer is producing a 300 BLK rifle. It serves it's purpose way to well in a SBR platform. I have both, but if I was hunting big game...

    AR/Stoner barrels, how accurate?

300 blk I have the exact same barrel, I wanted the rainier arms but the AR stoner was the only pistol length barrel I could find in stock. I am waiting on my rail and gas tube so I have not shot mind yet but I will be happy with 1.25". That's acceptable for 100 yards.

300 BLK Rainier Arms vs. Wilson combat

They are both 1/8 twist, I plan on shooting both sub and hi vel but have no plans on a suppressor due to the federal govt. being so slow. I had some plans on hunting with it therefore the 10-11" barel. I know Wilson is considered excellent but was not sure about rainier arms quality.

300 BLK Rainier Arms vs. Wilson combat

I'm starting a 300 blk pistol build and have narrowed my barrel selection down to a 10.5 Rainier Arms or a 11.3 Wilson Combat, both stainless and same price point. Any suggestions or ideas?

    Thompson Center 35 Whelen

I have one just like that but with the pro hunter stock and 22" custom shop barrel, and a bushnell 3-9x40 it's a good deerstomper.

SKS just as good as an AK 47?

I had a Norinco MAK 90, it was the cheapest piece of crap that would barely shoot a 8" group at 100 yards with a 9 lb 3inch gritty ass trigger pull. My buddies $80 SKS was way more accurate and honestly better built. Don't give in to the AK hype. Anyone who throws their gun in the mud is an...
