Reasonable FFL transfer in Seattle WA

I've used Capitol Loans a couple times with good results. They're up on Capitol Hill. I think it was $25 per transfer.

Removing cigarette smoke smell from leather

What about an ozone machine? We had some fire damage in our apartment when the neighbors left a candle lit and the restoration company used a couple ozone machines to get the smell out of everything. Even worked with the leather furniture. You can rent them at most equipment rental places.

    .308 Garand ammo?

I've got an Orion 7 .308 Garand and it has eaten PRVI, BH 175 gr, and 175gr reloads. No problem at all. Even asked when I got it and they said it would be fine with either surplus or match ammo.

SK Jagd / Wolf .22LR ammo variants

I read a post on snipershide.com about Wolf Match Target vs. Wolf Match Extra. It sounded like they would test sample lots from Wolf Match Target and if it was extremely consistent, they'd pull the lot and label it Match Extra. To me, the Match Target works great. Unless I was shooting some...

standard to mag primers effect on accuracy-45ACP?

Ok...I went around and around on this topic when primers started to become scarce. All I could find were magnum small rifle primers when all my loads were built up with regular small rifle primers. I went through the hassle of working them up again and I got literally the same result. Now, I...

Wtk: If crimping is must when using bullets w/ cannelure?

Nope, not necessary to crimp a bullet with a cannelure. Though it will prevent bullet set back when used in an AR. Some will cry bloody murder if you don't crimp for an AR but I haven't had a problem in mine. But that's just me.

    can you recognize this gun?

Nope - two inch according to their website. But I do agree that it does look a bit shorter than their 1 7/8 J-frame. On a side note - it holds 8 rounds...

    Reloading Blazer brass

Blazer is good to go. I've got a couple boxes of .45 and on one the headstamp reads Blazer and on the other it reads CCI. Both reload just fine.

    45 acp available in Wa

Just got back from the Wal-Mart near Tulalip Casino. They had a TON of 45 acp WWB. I only need a couple but they probably had 50 or 60 boxes. Maybe more. They had to their case full and stocked the rest on the shelf next to it. The guy also said they were getting 9mm WWB tonight. Not much...

    UPS Drama

You can ship firearm parts through UPS but it has to go through their hub or driver pick up. They don't want parts going through drop boxes, UPS stores, third party (stores like staples or mailboxes etc.). Just look up customer locations to find out where you can ship them out of. Probably...
