I'm seriously looking at either a 6" Colt Python or a Sig Sauer P226 Elite as my first handgun. After some quick checking, the .45 may be a bit pricy to fire on a regular basis so it looks like it'll be either a 9mm or a .357. I'll have to see how the court battles turn out here, Coumo may have...
I'm in the market for my first handgun and I thought I had my heart set on a .357 revolver however as the date draws near to pick my first purchase I find myself reconsidering a semi automatic. I've only ever fired firearms once, at an NRA pistol course in VT last August, so I have limited...
Specifically a 686 Plus. I tried contacting the company several months ago regarding the proposition but never received a response. I'm going to try again but, in the meantime, was wondering if anyone here has a semi-auto with the treatment and if they know of any reason it wouldn't work on a...
it to you to buy American?
I ask because I've been debating with myself over buying a S&W 686+ or Ruger GP100 for my first handgun. If buying American wasn't important to me I'd lean much closer to buying the Ruger. Luckily, well not really, I have over a year before I have to make the decision.
I'm debating the same, but I like the look of the Taurus slightly better, although if I ever move to a state that allows it it might be fun to screw on a suppressor to the Bobcat.
Ever since I saw Driven To Kill several years ago I've wanted a small .22 to toy around with at the range. Seeing as I can pick up a used Taurus PT22 for around $100 is it worth the gamble? I've seen a lot of negative reviews from people but also enough decent ones to make me consider it...
Based on personal aesthetic preference, price and reviews I've narrowed down my very first handgun purchase to either of the aforementioned revolvers. I have an NRA handgun training course scheduled in VT on August 4th which will allow me hands on experience with, hopefully, one or both of them...
I'm thinking of getting it as one of my two quality EDC knives. I love the look but there's not a whole lot of info on their site regarding the specs, so I come to you fine folks. A quick, hands on, review would be nice.
I'll be celebrating a new job by purchasing a .357 lever action rifle within a month or two and am looking to outfit it with one of the beautiful slip on butt stock covers and slings from Levergun Leather Works. Both will include ammo loops, enough for a full reload. I'm trying to find out if...
