I just rotated again. Dan Wesson .38 Super probably for the rest of the summer. Then maybe I break out one of the cowboy guns...maybe the 44 mag Super Blackhawk....we will see!

We had a club in the late 60's in my day. But, alas....with todays politically correct climate, it would most likely be frowned upon.

I have enjoyed the 9mm for over 50 years now. I like the .45 too, but I like the less expensive ammo and reload 90 percent anyway. Last couple of years I have had way more enjoyment shooting my .38 Supers. A little more of a good thing than the 9mm. Its all good, and everybody be safe!

Yes....why did you wait? I have 3, and love them. 2 Colts, 1 DW. Also have 3 .38 Supers....Colt and 2 DW. Great choice, and if you reload its pretty darn cheap to shoot. Enjoy!

As much as I love the good old .357, I would use the 9mm in your situation. .357 out of a snub is not very comfortable!

Try not to do that again! At age 65, I'm down a few decibels in my left ear....yes some of it from shooting back in the day without protection....but most of the damage is from being a Radioman in the USCG. Those darn high pitch CW signals (Morse Code) coming thru the headphones while on watch...

My good friend in Anchorage who is heavily into SASS competition swares by Cimmaron. He has 5 or 6 SA revolvers and loves them. Hope you get that worked out, because they are a good distributor and their stuff is good quality.

I always prefer the semi-auto shotgun with buckshot...but a 1911 is always in the nightstand ready to go.

Ill play..... 1911 in .38 Super, Benelli M2 12ga......Ruger M77 .270....good for any big game, and 2-legged critters. But how boring to have only 3.....geeez.
