Storing the Lee in the round containers they came in and the Dillon, made some holders out of cedar and a large bolt. I turned them down in my lathe.

The problem is the 3 hole or 4 hole turrets cost more to ship back for warranty than to buy new ones. I'd just wait for Midway or someone to run them on sale and buy a new one. I had the same problem, the 3 hole turret was machined off to one side. It wasn't but a few thou. but would cost more...
I've carried (and shot) a model 68 snub for years without a glitch. It likes everything I feed it except 148gr lead wadutters for some reason. I trust mine.

I stored some for 8 years in a shed in Alabama and had one container go bad. It had a very acidic smell to it and when I disposed of it wouldn't hardly burn. Try the smell test.

While it's fun to shoot, I can't keep scope caps on my SRH 7.5. I'd hate to think what full house loads would kick like with the shorter barrel. I doubt you will burn all the powder with it.

Hollowdweller, I have no problem keeping it on paper at 25 yards, now, which ring, well thats a little different. I'm shooting a fairly hot 45 colt reload with a 250gr cast bullet. I have some gold dots but haven't shot them from it yet. It's not a target gun and I didn't buy it thinking it was.

Re: the boxotruth article. If you load a shot shells to a particular lead load and then lighten the lead, you will NOT get good performance because you cannot lighten the powder load.

I've had one since Feb. and have really enjoyed mine. I live on the river so it does double duty home protection and snake gun as we have lots of no-shoulders around. I'm sure someone will come along and rain on our sunshine soon as it seems to be a very devisive topic.

I have one. I have enjoyed shooting it. It is not the most accurate you can buy, but then, its a short barrel self defense gun. I'm sure someone will cry bs, but I can put it on paper freehand at 25 yds with the 45colt and 000 buck is pretty bad news anywhere 15yds or closer. The #6 or smaller...
