    Which Limbsaver?

I have the same rifle in .308 and the stock and sad excuse for a recoil pad is less than forgiving. I went out and bought a Limbsaver medium size slip on pad for ~$35. I shot it today for the first time with the pad on and it seems to work quite well. I had relatively thick clothing on but I...

Bersa Thunder 9 Ultra Compact - anyone?

I have a Bersa Firestorm Mini 9mm and absolutely love it. No problems and it handles and points well. I think Bersas are an excellent value and one of the best kept secrets in handguns. I can't wait for the new single stack, polymer, concealed carry models to come out.

    Looking for a DA/SA 9mm...

Not quite full size but the Bersa Thunder UC and Bersa Firestorm Mini are DA/SA, hold 13 rounds and are nice reliable guns at a nice price.

    Would you buy a Hi-Point?

I bought one. It was my first centerfire handgun. Other than some feed issues do to a grappy magazine, it has been just fine. I'll be picking up a 9mm carbine when they go on sale again.

    FMJ 380 Target Ammo Question.

I've always used WWB since is the cheapest I can get locally. However, I haven't seen any in a loooooong time. I'd say for know you may have to buy whatever you can find.

The most durable/reliable 9mm that money can buy???

After reading countless stories and personal accounts it is hard to argue that the Glock 17 and 19 may possibly be the most durable amd relable guns on the planet. Especially considering how many have been sold. That said there are lots of reliable pistols out there and reliabilty is only...

Is the Bersa Ultra Compact 9MM to bulky ?

They are no bigger than most other double stacks out there. I love mine.

    loads for semi-autos

I have 4 semi-autos (Hi-Point 9mm, Firestorm Mini 9mm, LCP and Beretta model 70 - 22lr) and other than a mag issue with my Hi-Point that caused lots of feed issues, all of them have had no issues with ammo. I think I had one stove pipe with my Beretta that was most likely due to me not cleaning...

    380 Power

With todays modern ammo the 380 can be an effective round. I would prefer a larger caliber but until someone makes a compact 9mm similar in size to my LCP that costs under $500 I am willing to compromise. I was very apprehensive at first when I bought my LCP because it was 380 but there are...

    home defence caliber questions

I would not use a 380 for HD. A 9mm or 45 would be my choices or even a short barreled shotgun. That said I do carry a Ruger LCP in 380 and while I'd prefer a bigger caliber I am willing to compromise for the concealability. (I also carry a 9mm but not as often since the LCP is so easy to carry)...

    what 380 is good?

I carry a LCP and so far it has been a fine pistol. I think the Bersa 380s are great guns as well.

haven't purchased nor researched in a long time, need recommendations

Bersa Thunder or Firestorm. You can get one new for $330-$350 and they have compact and regular versions. (13 vs 17 rounds). I have a Bersa Firestorm Mini 9mm and it has been a great gun. Handles well and eats any ammo I throw at it.

What new semi-autos are on the horizon?

Bersa has a single stack polymer concealed carry model coming out in 9mm and 40 cal.

    Advice for my first handgun

Bersa Thunder UC or Firestorm Mini 9mm. SA/DA, midweight, 13 rounds, and a great value at ~$330-$350.

Anyone own a Bersa Thunder 9mm Ultra Compact?

I have a Bersa Firestorm Mini 9mm (almost identical to the Bersa UC) and I love it. 13 rounds, handles well and has been absolutely dependable. I see one at Impactguns for ~$330 but it is out of stock. You could check your local dealers and see if they can order one for you. They have been...
