i'm looking for a 9mm, size does not matter, for under $350 used.

any ideas?

i was looking into the cz 99, but would prefer something more common for parts.

nothing matters, except under $350 and a good shooter/reliability.

thanks

i am currently deployed, and haven't seen prices lately but i think you should be able to get a s&w sigma for that price. probally new, and definitly used.

if you want ease of replacement parts i would say look into a used glock, if you aren't opposed to them.

i never liked the sigma's trigger to be honest so i threw that out.

i also don't like many rugers.

and i can't find a used glock 17/19 under $350 to save my life.

be safe out there.

Beretta 92FS, a lot of them are right at that mark. If you can find a police trade in they usually come in at $350 or so w/ night sights and three mags.

Have you looked at the Stoeger Cougar? It's a direct knockoff of the Beretta and sells new close to what you're looking to spend on a used pistol. I've not shot one, but have handled it. Seems like a nice pistol for the price.

I think it was J&G that has some 92's around that price. I think they were $329, so add $15 for their shipping and $20 for your transfer, and you are close to your goal. Since the Sig P6's ran out 18 months or so ago, that's been the best used deal you could routinely find for a nice 9mm.

Bersa Thunder or Firestorm. You can get one new for $330-$350 and they have compact and regular versions. (13 vs 17 rounds). I have a Bersa Firestorm Mini 9mm and it has been a great gun. Handles well and eats any ammo I throw at it.

You should be able to find a "Third Generation" (metal frame) S&W pistol, albeit perhaps with some finish wear, for that price. A couple of years ago I picked up a 6946 for $330 after some negotiation. Speaking of same, remember that you can do that, too.

I have seen CZ75B's for around that price used and they are a great pistol. As mentioned in another post, I also don't like the Sigmas. The trigger is awful. For the same money, the CZ offers a better value.

If you don't mind .45 (I know you said 9mm) Rock Island makes a great 1911 new for $400. Now that the prices are coming down after the election buy up, you might find one for $350 or less used. They do make a 9mm, but I haven't seen the used prices in my area.

For me our local cop shop handles department trade ins. You might see if a gun shop or police supply house in your area does this. I've also had good luck on line, I picked up 1 recently for a trade, but list pricing was $375, and I saw one at $350 just down the page from it. There are several on gunbroker right now that are in the $350-$400 range after multiple bids.

NWCP, i can't find any cougars for under $400

Oro, J&G no longer has em

butters, i did look at the thunder before, it didn't blow me away though

Zerodefect, i don't like keltecs, personally, also if you can find me a glock 19 for under $350 i owe u a sixer

The Lone Haranguer, i already have a 5906 and love it.

ol' scratch, i have never seen a cz 75b for anywhere near $350 new or used, but if you see one let me know

Jenrick, i hate gunbroker haha, but thanks.

i just noticed that s&w is still offering the 2 free mags like usual.

i might get myself a sigma and have my smith mod the trigger.

anyone know a good place to get the sigma new to qualify for the rebate besides at bud's.

after bud's jacked up their prices to ridiculous levels during the election, i refuse to buy anything from them anymore.

I believe that if you join the Glock Sport Shooting Foundation, one of the side benefits is the ability to buy a new Glock at LE pricing at participating dealers (a list is on their web site). I know it's more than $350, but thought it might be worth finding another 50 bucks to get a new, quality weapon that is by all accounts utterly dependable. Just my two cents...
