Leather or kydex?
Comp Tac makes great ones in kydex. Usually takes quite a bit longer to get a leather holster made. Many makers will have drop down menus to list the specific models. You should have many options with a full size M&P.
Thanks for the replies... I'm still waiting for my IWB#3 for a .40 compact M&P. It should be here soon (I hope)!
I think next I want to try an OWB scabbard.
Short barrel has a slightly larger cavity for more reliable expansion at lower velocities. I think it was originally designed to work out of a 2" barrel. If your barrel is around 3.5 - 4" or more I would just use the regular 124 +p.
Like 'em? Hate 'em?
I'm looking for an IWB holster for my M&P .40c. The Kramer #3 looks very appealing. Anyone that uses Kramer or has any thoughts. I prefer leather. I have looked at the Comp-Tac Ghurka also (kydex). And, yes, I've been recommended VMII but I need something sooner than 6...
I just purchased an M&P .40 compact and have been thinking about using the Speer Gold Dot 180 grain short barrel just as the email said.
I have always been told to use the short barrel ammo with barrel lengths less than 4". I have the 124 +p short barrel in my Sig 229R 9mm - barrel length...
As in the post above, readily accessible is the key term. A weapon in the trunk of your car would not be considered concealed. I was taught in my CCW class to always think of that term.
