What is the process of changing barrels in a rem 700 rifle? I am thinking of a .308 remington 700, rebarreled with a .358 win shilen barrel. Is this a big deal? Any idea how much a gunsmith would charge to do the labor?

Can anyone recommend some factory or handloaded 44 mag loads for a Ruger deerfield carbine - I love this gun and want to hunt deer with it next year. All I have used so far is 240 grain win jsp white-box. I realize length can be a problem in the ruger's magazine, but are extra power loads ok...

I have an itch to get an 8mm mauser in last years Rem classic. I do handload so I am not worried about the enimic US factory loads. But, just in case, is there anyone who sells full power "european" 8mm .323 JS factory loads?
