I've shot the Springfield and really liked it, I own an SR9c and it's been flawless, accurate and it's made in the USA. I only know the others by reputation and they're all good.
I've had an SR9c for going on three years now and find it accurate, reliable and easy to cc. I've lost count of the rounds I put through it but it eats anything I can find.
I carry in the appendix position and haven't found it hard to reholster but then comfort and the ability to draw has been most important to me. The reinforced top is suppose to make reholstering easier but a bit less comfortable, this they say on their website. I carry a SR9c and can forget it's...
For me the Remora holster addressed all the issues you mentioned in your post. No clips to pry open, infinitely adjustable and mine has become more comfortable with use. I've worn it in many situations and never felt the gun was anything but secure. For maximum comfort I'd recommend the carry...
About the most important part I can think of would be a extra firing pin...say I think I will take that advise myself.
I agree with your advise but where would you buy one? I can't seem to find one online anywhere .

May be a little late since the damage appears to be done but this might prevent it from getting worse. I haven’t used any but have read many great testimonials about it. If I get a SR1911 I’ll remove the grips and apply this to the stainless.
Thanks for the reply. I just got back from a long hike using this holster and it felt great. I imagine as it breaks in it's only going to get better. Thanks again.
The Kydex that the gun sits in feels all right it’s the leather backing that the Kydex and belt clips are attached to that are my concern. I’ve gone to the Shepherd holster website to try and find what or if there is a difference. When trying to compare them from pictures on their website it...
I just received a IWB holster ordered from Amazon. My order was for the SR9c/SR40c but the tag on the holster says SR9/SR40. They give you the option to order a holster for the full size or the compact but I don't know what the difference is or even if there is a difference. I did ask Shepard...
