    I understand. I don't post threats, direct or indirect, on any public accounts. I do, however, post about my gun rights and my own philosophy of gun ownership. I do this to attract new shooters to the sport. If this gets me in trouble someday, so be it.

    Sun Devil Mfg.

    Starting research on building my first AR. Been looking at mating a Sun Devil Mfg. lower with an Adams Arms gas piston upper. Haven't found too many reviews about Sun Devil's work, though, so I was wondering if y'all have anything to saw about them.

    Carrying a 1911

    Recently I've been carrying a full size Sig 1911 with a rail in one of D.M. Bullard's Bodyguard holsters (http://www.dmbullardleather.com/1429711.html). I bought one he had in stock for the Taurus PT1911 and it fits perfectly. Couldn't be happier!

    Jmorris, that's an excellent setup. All of you guys have been really helpful. Just to be clear, this isn't an EDC setup. I just wanted to be sure that I wouldn't get jocked if I stop somewhere on the way to or from the range/middle-of-nowhere-desert.

    It's been done. A guy I know accidentally loaded .380 in is 9mm Sig, ran the magazine, and it failed to feed on the last round.

    Every day I'm tempted to carry when I go to class. Honestly, I think I'd rather face felony charges than be killed by an angry virgin. My two cents on carrying in "restricted" areas.
