I have shot probably 3000 rounds of it in .45 in the last 2 years without a single issue. HOWEVER, I bought a few boxes of it in .223 and could not make it 4 or 5 rounds without problems. I have since sworn off of it.

I have a couple of Colt SAA clones in .45 long colt. I find myself wanting a levergun in matching caliber. I can get a Puma in SS for $399 + tax while a matching Marlin 1894 is almost $200 more. Does anyone have any practical experience with the Pumas? This will be for plinking and maybe, down...

It seems like most of the people that want to slam the 1911 vs the wonder pistols use the same tactics(emotion) as the antis use against us all. You have to wonder why someone would come in here and intentionally try to start a fight.

Bratch go by Brigadoons and fondle the ones he has in stock. He carries most of what is on the market. I vote for the 8mm mausers and Enfields. Mosins or K-31s dont do anything for me.

I just read Enemies Foreign and Domestic over the last 3 days while in GA on business. I was going to start a thread on how great I thought that it was and come to find out he has another book out!
