Do you remove the case lube after ammo completion?

Slamfire, that was an excellent post and an excellent read! I thank you for taking the time to post that! However, now I am off to do more research, being the anal OCD type...lol

Do you remove the case lube after ammo completion?

Slamfire, I am not arguing with you at all, as I am quite sure you are more than correct, when it comes to cannons and firearms developed for 2mm greased ammunition. However, I highly doubt that applies to small arms where the action was not designed to take that kind of bolt thrust, modern...

    RCBS bullet colet puller question

Using the collet puller without making marks takes a little practice til you get the feel. Too much pressure and you mark the bullet, not enough and it slips and scratches the bullet without removing it. Only takes a couple bullet pulls to figure it out though. I much prefer this method to...

    Reloading in a Vacuum.....

So in other words if you tried to vacuum out all contents from a brass cartridge to make it an absolute vacuum it won't collapse? I am curious as well, if someone had the equipment to conduct such a test I would like to see the results.

    Reloading in a Vacuum.....

If you could create a pure vacuum inside a brass casing I am quite willing to bet it would collapse, and we quite often get more than 29.5 inches mercury atmospheric pressure, although that would be more than enough.

does anyone else have issues with accubonds?

I have had great accuracy and excellent weight retention using 140 AB's in the 270, 200's in the 325 WSM and 140's in the 7mm08. In fact they are my to to hunting bullet when Partitions are unavailable or or I am loading for 400 yards plus.

    Reloading in a Vacuum.....

Am I still on the THR forums? Even if it was possible to create loads in a vacuum, once removed from the vacuum the casing would crush even if the bullet and primer was sealed in place. Now, loading cartridges with an inert gas could possibly have real world uses, maybe not for me, because...

What do you do and how long to wait?

Personally, I would send them back along with a note. Honesty and virtue will take you much further in life over the long run. But that's just me.

Having complete confidense in your reloads

Most handloads are tailored to a specific firearm, and not quality checked by YOU! I trust my handloads over ANY factory rolled, handgun, rifle, or shotgun. Too bad you don't trust yourself 45.....

first time - how many components should I buy?

Sadly, I can't get 100 rounds ammo with a pound of powder in some of my rifles, I wish I could get 1,400 per!!! lol
