Many moons ago, my LGS had a bunch of those guns for $250 or thereabouts. Like an idiot I didn't grab one or two. Still kickin my butt over that. Nice pistol.

I talked my LGS out of mine for $869.00. They are relatively expensive but seem to be well made, easy to maintain and quite accurate. The poorly designed safety levers and heavy trigger are the only downsides, and as I said above, the safety lever is an easy fix one way or the other.

Late to the party, but I agree with you that it is a very versatile rifle. I have two of them; a 16" blue, and 18" stainless, both left hand. Accurate, handy and rugged.

You can also get the Shield with a safety.
