My new 37 year old P6

Many moons ago, my LGS had a bunch of those guns for $250 or thereabouts. Like an idiot I didn't grab one or two. Still kickin my butt over that. Nice pistol.

9mm black hole (New Cz Skorpion carbine review)

I talked my LGS out of mine for $869.00. They are relatively expensive but seem to be well made, easy to maintain and quite accurate. The poorly designed safety levers and heavy trigger are the only downsides, and as I said above, the safety lever is an easy fix one way or the other.

9mm black hole (New Cz Skorpion carbine review)

LOL Jackal, ya but if you do that you'll have one sweet ride. The trigger also sucks on it, but even with the lousy trigger, after I mounted the red dot, a cheap Romeo that I took off of my M400, a 20 Rd mag produced one hole groups at 15yds.

9mm black hole (New Cz Skorpion carbine review)

I bought one recently and love it except for one thing, and that is that the safety gouges the crap out of my trigger finger. I remedied that with a Dremel tool, then found some nice aftermarket levers from Parker Mountain Machine. So I got them. I also mounted a red dot on it, and it is a...

    right bolt-left chamber?

I'm left handed, so all of my bolt guns are left hand. I picked up a left hand Rem 788 in 6mm Remington and the chamber is on the right.

    Just bought a Taurus PT111 G2.

I bought one a short while ago, and have no complaints. Taurus seems to have stepped up their game considerably in the last few years. I realize we are talking about the PT-111 G2 here, but Guns and Ammo did a test of most of the popular subcompact pistols on the market, and the Taurus 708...

An unsettling experience my friend had recently

To clarify, I wasn't there. As to flashing wealth, I get what you're saying, but neither of us do that except to say that, yes, driving an expensive car I suppose could be construed to be 'flashing wealth.' The thing is that in the area where we are, there are LOTS of those types of cars, so...

An unsettling experience my friend had recently

Well said, gentlemen. I wholeheartedly agree with the comments about controversial subjects where alcohol is served. And the comments regarding shootout scenarios are true as well. I would add however that polarizing discussions and alcohol aside, we can't be too careful nowadays, as I...

An unsettling experience my friend had recently

The conversation wasn't about the 2nd Amendment, it was just the typical political discussion regarding the candidates and politics in general. My friend is rather conservative as well as were the people he was talking with. The two strangers apparently not so much. You never know what will...

An unsettling experience my friend had recently

Said friend was at a restaurant lounge with his wife, visiting with some friends. The conversation got around to politics, and of course everyone has an opinion. During this discussion, two strangers sitting nearby apparently disagreed with the general tone of the discussion and proceeded to...

Maybe the Fiocci has a smaller rim.

    Won a GSR

Late to the party, but I agree with you that it is a very versatile rifle. I have two of them; a 16" blue, and 18" stainless, both left hand. Accurate, handy and rugged.

You can also get the Shield with a safety.

    9mm SA single stack compact

The Sig 938 is right up your or rather her alley. Single action, ambidextrous safety. Compact, accurate and handles 9mm recoil well for a small package.
