Farnorthdan, I already tried a bunch of different ammo--not that I think that one should have to wade through otherwise reliable ammo makers to find the one that my fussy gun likes. My LCP was fussy (i.e., unreliable) with all of them.

I called Ruger today. They got my LCP on July 10th. Customer service said they are backed up a month. So maybe in two weeks, I'll have my LCP back, and we'll see if it's going to stay.

taurusowner, It looks like you read only the previous couple of posts, and then posted. If you'd read the whole thread, you would know I've put many different ammo brands through my LCP. They all failed me. Or rather my LCP failed them all. As to the point on money, I don't buy that...

Yeah, but I hate the way the Kel-Tecs feel. They are rough and poorly finished. If both guns reputedly have their share of problems, I'd rather have one with a nice finish at the very least. Maybe what I should've done is wait for the new Kahr.

I sent it to Ruger today. They sent me a UPS mailer for the shipping. We'll see what they do.
