If I'm understanding the wuestion correctly, you should pull the slide all the way to the rear and just release it. The speed you pull back with doesn't matter as far as I know. Just don't 'ride' the slide forward and you should have no problems. Jay *I guess I type too slow.

Yeah I have. The problem is that I am attending college in NC while my residency remains in WV (ie out of state student).
