That might be what they claim, but how does the trigger pull actually feel?
And as far as I'm aware, Sightron SII's are fairly good scopes. I wouldn't consider it something to worry about when it comes to accuracy.
I have a Mk 12 barrel on my custom budget SPR and I like it, though I haven't shot anything but cheap 55gr FMJ's with it yet. I can usually get a little less than 2 MOA out of it. I'm anxious to see what it can do with some serious match grade ammo.
What kind of trigger do you have in it? A heavy, gritty mil-spec trigger is not conducive to good groups. You may want to get a match grade trigger if you don't already have one.
I have only one AR-15 in an SPR configuration. It's mainly a range toy and potential SHTF gun, but I might also get an occasional opportunity for varminting.

Wow, that's extremely similar to the rifle I'm building. Mine is a SPS Varmint in .308, which is almost the same as the police model. I plan on getting that exact same scope, too. So far I've only got the rifle and a Vortex Crossfire as an interim scope.
