Shellplates and powder, pretty much. If your dies are all already set up in bushings for the single stage, you shouldn't have to do anything with them besides possibly adjusting them a little. I also use the RCBS lockout die, and agree with the frustrations above but still use it. Cleaning up...

I've decapped plenty of live primers, never had an issue. I even deliberately tried to set one off in my press by decapping it somewhat vigorously and couldn't do it. Having said that, I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Wear the ^%$@# glasses.

Speaking personally of course... If you do some research, figure out what exactly you need/want to load as much ammo as you need/want in the time in which you have to do it, a kit can save you some money. But as noted, many kits come with stuff you just don't need, and don't come with stuff...
