I've had 2 Mossberg ATR's. Both were fine hunting rifles. My only problem was that the barrels heated up and POI moved as much as 6 inches in five rounds. Once zeroed for a cold barrel they were good for hunting but no fun for range day. Scott

If you replace the bolt, you'll have to re-headspace the rifle. You should disassemble the bolt you have and see what needs replaced. GunPartsCorp.com will probably have what you need to repair it. Sounds like a firing pin and spring and possibly a new cocking piece. Scott
