    50 yards is the norm range for a 22lr, depending on the ammo you can see up to a 3" drop at 100 yards

    I'll shoot anywhere, but prefer outdoor (I belong to Douglas Ridge) but live next to water front park, so walking distance to rock bottom.

    10/22 needed a upgrade

    best start is a VQ hammer, it's 40 bucks and will drop you down to a 3 # pull. but out of the box will suprise you.
