Just thought I would share my latest revolver buys. Up first is a 2.5" Colt Diamondback, overall it's not the best condition, but it should make a good shooter. Now I need to find some wooden grips or "stocks" for it and I will be set. (The white in the cylinder is some renaissance wax I missed...

My revolver "stock pile" is doing just fine lol. There's a N prefix before the number. I'm guessing 73ish?

I ended up buying this 28-2 Highway Patrolman today. Overall it's in pretty good shape, but not perfect. Serial number is in the 91XXX range, so I'm guessing early 70's? Just thought I would share and YES I know that it needs some wood stocks. I also bought the belt for $20 at a gun show...

I like and carry stainless the most, but I have a soft spot for blue.

I thought it would be interesting to see what kind of finish everyone likes the most on their revolvers.

My light box isn't big enough to hold 7 revolvers yet :) but like I said, it came out okay. I needed to use more contrast, reduce the shadows and highlights. The bright stainless is hard to photograph, as it tends to blow the photo out. This is one of my better ones:
