Has anyone tried one of the Ramline stocks? I'm also thinking about using one with a stainless 336 for an all-weather jungle gun.

Would it be highly inappropriate to have a parkerized finish put on a Hamden High Standard Model 106 Military Supermatic Trophy (fluted barrel)? The origninal blued finish is pretty worn. I just think it would look very nice on this gun. Sacrilege?

Ha ha. I still have a pellet gun scar from my brother too! He sniped me from the roof of our (then) house while I was in the yard. Got me at the base of my rib cage. Knocked the wind out of me. I still get peeved when I think about it, and it happened over 20 years ago. -- Dizos

Howdy Following advice from this board I created a plug to limit the number of shells on my SX2 Practical to 3. However, I'm wondering if I could purchase the mag tube for the regular SX2 and install it on my Practical. This would save on weight and attract less looks when bird hunting...

Anyone know where I can get a thinner pad for my Winchester Super X2? I found that the 1" rubber toe would grab my jacket shouldering while pheasant hunting. -- Dizos
