I am looking into purchasing an AR-180b. Are AR15 barrels are compatible with the AR-180b? I would be downright giddy if a 19' 1:7 chrome lined barrel could replace the current barrel.

Ryan, go with whichever AR has a chrome lined barrel and bore. I would even suggest CMMG's bargain bin ARs.

I only like the unconverted .308 as a ranch style rifle. Something I can take with me and beat the hell out of without too much worry about it. The trigger is pretty crummy but it is relatively accurate for being a toss around gun. I have other AKs that I use to throw in the endless abyss...
