    Glock Gen 3 or 4?

No question for me. Gen 4. I've had several from each, and both have been reliable. Gen 4 has some small improvements. Also an extra mag for non LE. For instance, on a 40, the gen 4 has noticeably less recoil imo. Probably because of the recoil spring. All of mine have had at least 1000...

    9MM Options

I love the 75B by the way. Beautiful gun. and it fits better in my hand than any other pistol i own. if it's for home use, the downside is it doesnt have a rail. but hard pick between that and a 92A1. It was $200 cheaper for me, but i still think i prefer the 92A1 over it slightly.

    9MM Options

I own a 92A1 and a SP-01. Both are fine pistols with solid reputations. IMO, I prefer the 92A1 much more than the SP-01 for several reasons. 1) It seems much more refined, especially when I disassemble it. The SP-01 looks fine on the outside, but internally, it looks a little rough. Mine...

    Beretta 92FS worth getting?

I have a 92a1 and it is my favorite at the moment. Got it for $650 plus tax, brand new, with 3 17 round mags. Fine quality, seems sturdy, and I shoot it as accurately as any pistol I own. I would say your price is steep. Have you looked at a 92a1? Easier option if you want night sights...

    Great CS from Ruger

I love Ruger's customer service. Unfortunately, I do not find some of their firearms reliable enough. But their customer service is top notch. If your firearm has any issues, in my experience they send you a mailing label right away, fix it, and send it back to you at no cost. Because of...

Which of these subcompacts would you get?

For reliability, G26. Like others, the G26 is bulky. When I carry it IWB, I never forget it's there. I am on the look for an alternative carry that's thinner. Thinking about the Kahr CM9 - but it's reliability and customer service (at least from what I've read) is a little concerning...

    Kahr CM9 reliable enough?

this is a little long winded, so what I am really asking is: Kahr CM9 (or any Kahr) - give it a try, or stay away due to reliability or customer service issues? I carry either a G23 or G26 IWB wherever it's lawful to do so. However, when I have to sit against a chair for a while, the...

    Would you sell this gun?

Oh yea, it's especially worth selling if you can use the cash to buy a gun you like even more.

    Would you sell this gun?

I agree with Shipwreck. I have liked all the guns I have owned. Had a beautiful stainless steel USP Compact 45. But I couldn't justify owning it. Too big of a gun for only 8 rounds, and it became a safe queen. Still one of my favorite guns, but never regretted selling it (only thing I regret...

    Do it all 9mm

BTW - I do like having a light on my HD gun. It's convenient, frees up one hand, and lights up a room. As a bonus, my TLR-1 has a spot beam where I aim, so I dont have to aim down the sights from 7 yards away. Better than a laser IMO. Also, a good flashlight is a good investment as well...

    Do it all 9mm

IMO you cant go wrong with a glock 19. meets all your criteria, and is one of the most reliable 9mms out there. The best all around 9mm IMO.

    Glock 21

yea, its a good deal. Just depends on whether or not you want the gun, but you're not likely to find better pricing (in fact, I think that's cheaper than LEO pricing). That said, I passed on a Like New Gen 4 27, 4 mags, and night sights for $450 all in yesterday. As good of a deal as that...

    Why didn't I chose the G30 over the G26?

thickness is very noticeable. that said, you are getting a 45 vs a 9mm. However, for CCW, I feel that a 26/19 is about as wide as I would like to carry.

Help me pick - Glock 19 vs 23

CP Shooter - exactly what I was thinking. In 9mm, I think I actually prefer the 26 over the 19. In 40, I prefer the 23 over the 27. The grip extensions on the 26 make the difference for me.
