I guess you guys missed the anti-gun feature articles the Post ran the past couple of months. They basically ran a weekly series of articles doing their best to bash gun owners and gun shops. This one is their "balance" I suppose.

Gen3 Glocks are more reliable than Gen4. Gen4 are jamomatics. Stay clear.

Is this gun really pocket-concealable? How does the recoil compare to a j frame snubbie?

Rd, May I ask how you carry in the car? I just got my 642 and I plan to use a pocket holster but I imagine it would be uncomfortable on long trips. Any suggestions? I'm in my car quite a bit.

I think generally the Sig 1911's have a bad reputation. Since you were looking at a 1911 with an external extractor anyway why not buy a S&W?

I'd also add that I see peoples boats being searched all the time. I wouldn't keep a gun on board on the Potomac at all. It ain't worth the headache if they happen to think you have a bunch of alcohol below decks.
