I am in East Central Florida and fish the saltwater lagoons a good bit. My M&P 9c takes the abuse and is easily concealed. The trigger has been made very good and it is very accurate.
Sights

In my view the answer is Sig hands down. I had heard about them for years, just never bought one, and then one day a guy shows me an X-Five 9mm while I was looking at High Powers. It was like taking candy from a baby. I have just added a P226 Elite. Incredible guns.
Open carry
