I am in East Central Florida and fish the saltwater lagoons a good bit. My M&P 9c takes the abuse and is easily concealed. The trigger has been made very good and it is very accurate.

Best trigger The Sig X-5, L-1 has the best out of the box trigger I have ever pulled. It is also a very, very accurate pistol and comes in .40.

Sights There was a discussion on another forum about that very subject and one very good shooter claimed he had never seen the XS sights in IDPA, USPSA or IPSC. I have never seen a cop with them either. I owned a pair on a Dan Wesson Patriot 10mm and did not like them. I just could not get used...

I think you will enjoy the M&P. It is a great gun. I'm proud of Smith & Wesson, they did a great job designing this line of pistols.
