I can't find a LCP anywhere

"If you really want one, contact Jensen Arms in Loveland CO. He does Internet sales and had some in stock on Friday ($259)."

You got me excited for a minute there. I called them. They keep one on display but have a backorder of 40 customers waiting for them. Said they were coming in "onesies and twosies". Back to waiting for Ruger to catch up to demand.

Disaster:

Just a friendly suggestion...

Wait a spell before buying an LCP. Let other folks who require "instant gratification" "beta-test" those suckers for Ruger, then in a couple of months after the serial numbers are in the 5 digit range, and the supply has increased and price is stable (lower) buy one.

From past experience I've bitten at least 4 times by buying a newly released firearm, and this time I'm waiting.. I do plan to buy one, but I do not want an early production model.

Just personal opinion/YMMV/no offense intended.:D

That was plan...till I saw his post. I will buy one if I stumble on one in a store and the price is reasonable. Otherwise, I'll wait till they sell at the $260 or so, that they should.

I just got mine this afternoon. I was second on the list at my dealer
and the guy who bought the one ahead of me brought it back in to trade
so the dealer called me and the guy sold it to me for $295. He just bought
it there 3 weeks ago for $299 + tax + background check fee and he
put a keltec belt clip on it. He put 2 mags though it and I save 40 bucks
on tax and fees and my wait is over.
Now I have to get it to the range and make sure it goes BANG.

see it--buy it

when u see one, buy the damn thing, end the frustration. They are great little guns. And they are worth whatever you want to pay for them to.

oops sorry, double posted .

I want one too, but don't mind waiting a year or two for all the bugs to get worked out. However, if I see one in a local shop at a good price I'll snag it.

I'm still waiting for them to get the bugs worked out of the .44 Auto-Mag, but it's been 40 years, I'm getting impatient

Update to post #55

I made it out to visit a friend in the country and had a chance to fire
2 mags throught the gun and it was great. If you stage the trigger
like you would an old Smith revolver you can shoot some really nice
groups out of this little gun. I bought the gun used, the guy I
purchased it from said he fired 2 mags though it and I have now fired
2 mags through it no problems.
I was shooting WINCLEAN 95 GRAIN BEB from Walmart. It was very
accurate and no failures.
