I have a curved 7.62 NATO magazine for my EBO HK-91. I think it was originally made for a CETME. But it's a rare item, and yes, 7.62 NATO mags are almost always straight.
Seen in a discussion on Forgottenweapons.com...nobody can identify it, and many have tried. A one-off deal? Some obscure prototype? A franken-rifle bastardized from random parts? It's being used by Brazilian police, aparrently.
Original discussion here.....
Yes, the Greeks and their arms manufacturer EBO produced G3 and HK-91 clones, using tooling which they purchased from HK. And I do mean clones, as they are, as far as I can tell, EXACTLY the same as the HK-made models except for the manufacturer's stamp. I think they are the only G3 copies that...
I would agree except that too few people know what "modular" means, so it's less likely to be adopted to common usage. As to the idea that it's not really that modern - the basic design may indeed be older than many would imagine, yet it's still modern compared to the bolt-action rifles that...
Correct. That's the core of my whole argument - we can't let THEM make up the words. WE need to step up and take control of the language. Saying "it doesn't matter, it won't make any difference" is defeatist. Look at what various identity-politics-playing groups have been able to accomplish by...
I didn't like it, because it jumped in right away with the "liberal" and "conservative" business. Bad idea. Once you start using those labels, you lose potential allies. This isn't conservative vs. liberal, it's RIGHT vs. WRONG. Now, we in the movement already know that it is generally liberals...
Thanks. It's good to see that at least somebody understands how important control of the language is. Language is what our whole culture is based on. The people who manipulate it effectively are the ones who get what they want in life, and the ones who don't know how to use it effectively are...
The whole gun debate has been utterly poisoned by the use of the term "assault weapon". An invented, fictitious, and totally loaded term, which, as soon as it is used - either deliberately, by antis, or inadvertently by people who have just heard it repeated over and over and don't understand...
The guide is accurate, but I think the anti side generally DOESN'T CARE about these distinctions. They're against ALL guns, they're against the very concept of guns, they think there is something inherently evil, and even though they sometimes say "I'm okay with guns for hunting" or whatever...
The use of the term "assault weapon" seems to have multiplied by orders of magnitude in the past month. It seems like the media has taken this term and run with it like never before, possibly even more than they did when the first AWB was passed and when it expired. This fictitious term, created...
I've heard guns called "smoke wagons" but I have to say I don't understand this reference at all. I understand the smoke part, but what about a gun is similar to a wagon?
I will not be buying from them again, unless I want more 30 round CETME magazines. The ONLY reason I bought from them in the first place is because there was NO OTHER SOURCE for that particular and very rare magazine. If there is another site where I can get what I want for the same price, I...
I guess they're just hit-and-miss. However, a good online vendor (of anything) should just be HIT...and never miss. So I can't actually recommend the place, after my experience, given that I've read so many other bad ones - mostly I'm just astonished that they came through at all, given what I'd...
10 days ago I ordered a CETME 30-round magazine for my Greek HK91. I ordered it from Florida Gun Works. Little did I know that this company had a horrific reputation for not delivering items, for not communicating, and in some cases was accused of outright credit card fraud. Horrified, I...
