    bag carry in ID

Hey guys, in MT (where I live) one can carry a loaded pistol in a bag, purse, briefcase w/o a permit because it classifies as luggage. Is this the case also in Idaho? Just curious as I'll be traveling there soon. Thanks for the help HG

    Montana CCW Hunter Safety Course?

I was on carryconcealed.net and it tells me that I can take a hunter safety course and that will be enough for the training requirements to apply for my concealed carry license. Can anyone verify this? Thanks, HG

Shooting in Alger, WA (north of Seattle) [merged threads]

I wouldn't be worried about the RKBA in Alger, or WA for that matter (except for that eternal vigilance thing). This isn't too far from one of the best gun shops I have ever seen, not to mention there are quite a few shooters in this area. People will see it for what it was, senseless...

(CO) Man suing police to get his guns returned

.tif's are (usually) huge files. I bet the system won't allow it. If somone would take the files (with the right software) they may be able to change it into a .pdf or .jpg and that should post just fine.

"Fess up" -what kind of gun are you getting for your loved ones for Christmas?!

Getting my wife some tech-sights for her 10/22 (a wedding present). She's getting me a pair of Peltors

    Open Carry in Washington State

WooHoo. I OC'ed today in WA. Had it IWB at 4:30. It was kinda a wussy run. All I did was move some boxes from my old place to my knew place, but it does involve moving things on main street. So when I was getting stuff from my trunk, everyone (who has paying attention) could see as they drove...

    Illegal concealed carry in Illinois

NPE What you're talking about is an NPE, or Non Permissive Environment. Yeah, that's not going to get you far in this forum, but I know plenty of others where you'll do fine. http://www.warriortalk.com/showthread.php?t=6394 You'll have to register, but this is a good thread discussing...

    Open Carry in Washington State

UPDATE: 4th of July, 2006 So, I haven't OC'ed here yet, but I just talked to a cop in Bellingham (a starbucks) and this is basically how it went down: ME: I was reading RCW 9 and 16 the other day and had some questions so I emailed the DoL and they told me that it was legal to openly carry...

    My CCW got discovered

Big Daddy, I'm a WA rez, so here it is. You are cool. The state can't restrict you in your rez, so you can carry w/ or w/o permit (unimportant in this particular situation, but I thought I would tell you anyway). Second, little known, but WA is an Open carry state. I emailed the Dept. of Lic...

Nation of Riflemen/Appleseed Shoot in Bimingham, Alabama

Hey guys, I went to the event in Worland a week ago, and it was great. I have shot a rifle like 3 times before showing up and with Spartacus and Slappy there, I was showing marked improvement. After the second day I was able to hit a 12" circle at 300 yards 2 out of 5 times. I loved it...

    Open Carry in Washington State

And the Law says.... hmmm... So, basically, I have a letter from the DoL that says that I can open carry, and the law never disallows it, so I guess I can? You are right though, it is stupid that you have to unload once you get into your car. I guess if the evil gun doesn't make you do...

    Open Carry in Washington State

Hey guys, good thoughts. thanks. Here's the letter: Yeah, I feel pretty safe (I know that doesn't mean anything, but hear me out) in my neighbourhood, so this would be more about exercising my rights than anything. If I was doing this for the sole purpose of self-protection it would be...

    Open Carry in Washington State

Well, I guess if you do CCW, and you accidentally show, the cops can't get you for it like they can in Texas. 'course, they may still try to nab you by the same catch-all laws that they would get you for otherwise. Just kinda pisses me off that I can't (hmm... maybe that should read...

    Open Carry in Washington State

I just emailed the DoL of Washington State (William Foth) and he said that open carry is allowed in our fine state. To show ways in which open-carry is more limited than CCW, he told me to read RCW 9.41.300 and 9.41.050. My question to y'all, is have you ever open carried here? I just open...
