    44 magnum bullet speed

a 7.5 inch NON-VENTED pressure barrel will always give higher velocity than a 7.5 inch revolver barrel. i also doubt that the load will actually make 1900fps in anything but a 10 inch contender...or longer. buy some of it and chrono it.

    Springfield XD for IDPA

at the USPSA handgun nationals there was a guy in our squad who was shooting a 5inch XD 9mm. there was also a guy shooting a glock 34. the XD gunner was shooting winchester factory ammo, the glock guy was shooting his handloads. the glock never missed a beat in the 500 round match. the XD...

    Springfield XD for IDPA

springfield 9mm 1911 makes a good IDPA gun... the 9 round mags dont seem to hurt in idpa. USPSA has the provisional single stack division coming out soon(january 2K6) I have seen too many malfucntions with the XD in the short period its been out.. If you get a chance, try a CZ75 with a...

HK USP 9 for IPSC ??

published loads with titegroup and 147s make super sweet competition loads. 4.0 grains titegroup and a 124 Montana gold JHP at 1.145 OAL is what i use for Production....147s seem sluggish when shot aggressivly, but some folks like that. the 147s take the steel down pretty good though.

Pros & cons Glock 34 vs. Springfield XD for USPSA Comp?

the glock will last longer, be more accurate and more reliable. look into getting a G35 and reloading. 3.5 grians CLAYS and 180 FMJ make a super soft shooting minor 40 load and with the 10 round mag restriction on production, you give up nothing on mag capacity. bump that 180 grain bullet...
