Any experience with PCS/Pocket Concealment Systems?

I have PCS pocket holsters for a J frame, and 2 for my Seecamp .32. Additionally, I have the IWB for my Glock 19 and a tapered belt. I couldn't be happier. Design and execution are both top notch. Mike Meredith is local to Baltimore and I have chatted with him periodically. Talented holster...

Opinion of ruger security six bicentenial model

Ruger made a boatload of "Liberty" firearms in 1976. I have a Mini-14 and 6" Security Six so marked. I think $375 is a tad high for the revolver. I don't think the Bicentennial markings really add a price premium.

CCF Raceframes Metal frames for Glock: Whats' the Buzz

I got to handle them at length at TREXPO east last summer. They are well made and finished. For me, the only possible reason for getting one is to put a G21 top end on it to have that nice 1911 grip angle. I suppose that an older generation Glock owner that wanted a light rail could go this...

    Dogs and SD Shooting

Here's what I did with my Lab pups years ago. Take them to a firing range. Start in the parking lot and over a half hour or so, walk them up to just behind the firing liner. Talking gently and encouraging them along the way is a good idea. They acclimate to the noise. Follow up visits...

    Redfield LE 9 scope help

Redfield LE 9 scope help I have a Redfield LE 9 scope I bought years ago. I rediscovered it in the gun safe and realize I have no idea how to use the unusual reticle that it comes with. There was a small booklet that came with the scope that is long gone. Any help would be appreciated. I...

    j-frame carry iwb/owb

I am partial to the Safariland model 27 IWB. It has a "J" hook and is easy to take off while very secure on the belt.

What if you stopped a massacre in a gunfree zone with a gun?

I recall first hand a real life situation in anti-gun Baltimore, Md years ago. An elderly black gent was being badly beaten during the course of a street robbery by two young thugs. He was knocked to the ground where they put the boots to him. He produced a .32 pistol and lit them both up...

Anyone watch The Sopranos? Evil hollow point bullets?

I will venture an educated guess on Beretta popularity with the OC guys in the show. Diversion of a shipment of military M9 pistols. They are shipped by truck and past episodes show no hesitancy about hijacking shipments of goods that interest the mob. One good score would give them 'cold'...

    Bat Belt Tech..It's here!

Looks like a viable tool for dealing with an EDP outdoors. Another tool in the box. Given the price, perhaps for a specialized unit

Do "safety modified" old model blackhawks still have 4 clicks?

I have one of each and just went to the safe to check. Both have 3 distinct 'clicks'

How often are bullet-resistant vests used in crime?

We'll probably never know, since the majority of crimes are never cleared by arrest. I will say that in Baltimore at least, we come upon body armor sporadically being worn by the local felons. Usually found after an unrelated arrest or a stop and frisk.

    Cool product

I use one of these when I travel by air and check a handgun in my luggage. It takes up minimal space and IS approved by TSA.

    Pocket Concealment Systems - PCS

I've got 2 PCS styles for my Seecamp. Top notch fit, finish and design. I also have a IWB and belt scabbard for Glocks and they are at the same standard. Belt and mag pouches too. Since I am local in Baltimore, I have met Mike Meredith and he's a real gent and a friend of Lou Alessi as...
