I have a lot of .22's that I use with a suppressor. I have a Walther P22, a Ruger with a Pac-lite upper and a Smith 422.
I was thinking of the 1911 as the next .22.
As to the frame, I would probably not go with the 80% one. I would just get a serial numbered piece transfered in. As I...
I have a Kimber compact. I want to make a full size for the .22. I am going to get a Marvel or the new Tactical Solutions but they are over $300 for the Kit. I was looking at the stripped frames as a way to get by saving some money since I do not need another .45.
I want to build a 1911 frame and put a .22 kit on top.
I see the stripped frames for sale from Sarco.
How hard is it to build one up? Is it worth it or should I just buy a complete gun?
Thanks

Hello,
A guy at work asked me about reloading and blanks. He wants to make blanks for a Henry rifle for Civil War reenacting. Does anyone make a star crimper to make your own blanks?
Could it be incorporated in a reloading set up.
Thanks

Everything is about the same. There is a second disconector and a cam on the side of the hammer. Bolt carrier is the same. Now the four position kits, safe-semi-burst-full, those kits have a lot of parts.
Butler creek folders will not fit the target barrel. You will have to open up the stock some.
The 12.5 barrel with a long FH is legal as long as the FH is permanatly attached.
No
In a semi-auto set up, there will not be any function issue. On a M-16 there are a few tricks to get it to run reliably but they will run fine.
Enjoy
My loving wife got me a Cabellas gift certificate and I want to get a bi-pod for my Remington 700 PSS. It has the 20 inch barrel. There are a lot of varieties of the Harris pods? What do I need?
Thanks

I have used one regularly for the last year and I like it alot. It is holding up fine and you can get a lot of options when you order it.

Frisco
I was at the one in Frisco, TX 2 weeks ago. The gun desk manager helped me with a price match on ammo. He thin informed me about the discontinuation of Pistol sales. He said he know it was coming for a month or so because he was not getting any new pistol supplies or magazines.
