    Reasonable FFL Transfer Fees

I used to get my transfers done through waterhouse for $6, but then I moved away so now I'm up to $10 with my new dealer.

    Why Are ARs So Heavy?

I think the removal of the bottom slot on the A2's flash hider did just as much to cut down on muzzle rise as the heavier barrel did.

SIG 1911 Would you buy one???

Nope. The funky slide shape probably makes holster shopping difficult for those of us who like tightly molded leather. Plus I have one railed 1911 that I never use anymore, one railed 1911 that is a commemorative model with my Iraq unit and OIF 06-08 on it, and one railed 1911 that is my "Oh...

Exposing the Lies of "Future Weapons"

Me and my friends have always wondered if Mack's ten years with the Navy SEALs was spent as a supply clerk.

The installation commander at Fort Hood is the commanding general of III Corps, the garrison commander is a full colonel. The garrison commander does not issue regulations, he keeps the base running. Fort Stewart's installation regulations should all be signed off by the commander of 3rd ID.

    Proper M4 shooting form

The armor plate in the Interceptor vest rides high enough that you can only get the toe of the butt stock on your shoulder. If the butt stock touches the armor plate, you have a hard surface on a hard surface, which causes slippage under recoil. You have to put the hard butt stock on a soft...

I'm so tactical my truck gets 200 mpg (maimings per gallon). I'm so tactical my dress shoes have Vibram soles. I'm so tactical that my toilet has to be lead-lined. I'm so tactical my steak knives are handmade by Kevin McClung.

Then, as I said earlier, the Soldier could be held liable for his roommate's refusal through nonjudicial or judicial punishment. AKA, Article 15 or court-martial.

Heller denied again in DC - Duplicate threads merged

The funny thing is, S&W makes 8-shot .357 magnums. I want to see someone bring one of those in to register and watch a DC official's head explode out of confusion.

Well, my printer is already going to be working overtime tonight spitting out AR 190-11, FH Reg 190-11, and the 3HBCT policy letter concerning weapons. If you can think of other references I'll need, I'll look them up and print them out. The only thing I can't find a copy of is AR 190-22...

Just looked up AR 190-11, it's restricted so I had to get on AKO. Chapter 4-5, no mention of off-post weapons.

Well, I'll be the brave troop headed into IG tomorrow, since I signed out of Fort Hood two days ago and I have business at G1 anyways. And PT tomorrow? To hell with that, I'm on PCS leave. :D

I'm not sure. The NRA said they got a lot of e-mails from Fort Hood troops the day I sent my e-mail, but I have no idea if they were all from my brigade or multiple brigades. The brigade home pages don't have their policy letters online. I have no idea where to get the Fort Bragg policies or...
