In my country the .45 is fading away a bit. It used to be a popular cartridge for IPSC but the .40 has somewhat replaced it. The .45 does enjoy some cult following here too as we also have our own 1911 crowd. The popularity of the 9mm is mainly due to the price of ammo. 9mm is used by NATO...

Agreed. Thats the way it should have been done! Now the "trigger reset point" can't be seen in the animation. Maybe some day I'll change it. I've spent many many months with the animation and I need a brake from it for a while... But thanks for the constructive critisism.

I use 3D Studio Max for the 3d modelling. And yes this project is going to take a while because of the huge amount of work. The small parts seem doable but the frame is going to be a tough one.
