I watched a program on tv filmed in Alaska about game wardens who where in charge of controling nuicance bears that come into town and cause problems.Their gun/load of choice is the 12guage with slugs,so I voted with the experts.

Deer CAN see the color blue, and because turkey also have blue coloring it would not be a good idea to wear wranglers on a turkey hunt.

This was mentioned earlier in the thread,but if you are looking for a hunting rifle instead of trying to shoot from 1,000 yards why not improve you hunting skills. The last 4 deer I have taken have been within 30 yards and used a black powder rifle or shotgun slugs.
