I agree with Art. But this elk subject has been shot up every way possible. Definitely want a good 30 caliber rifle.
I have seen folks starting to use a 150gr. 300 Blackout cartridge to hunt big game such as elk with pretty good success. The sky is the limit these days I guess.

And one more shot of the scope. I went with a Trijicon Accupoint variable power scope as it is quite versatile in that you can easily shoot CQB with it and get those 300m+ shots off with ease.
Overall one of my favorite Noveske rifles!

I own exactly ONE Hk (A P30 V3). I like it for what it is. But I will put it out there that folks who buy an Hk P30, P2000, Hk45 pay a lot of money and should have a quality pistol which they do. But those same folks...
Oh and don't forget to send the firearm off to be engraved w/ your name (or revocable trust name), city, and state - while your Form 1 is pending.
That way everything is ready to go when you get your stamp back... unless the place that is cutting the gun down for you can do the engraving too...
