Sounds like lipstick on a pig. However I'm not sure what coatings will show, it will depend on the thickness of the product. Cerakote tends to be rather thin as most markings and stampings are still visible. Plating would be pretty thick and parking has a texture that hides imperfections well...

Just an update in this issue. I did the fix documented in the following link. After shortening the extractor push rod, reliability has been 100% with ball ammo and the few XTP rounds I have tested.
